this store is really nice. Has a good atmosphere. Just be aware that the stuff here are sometimes not always brand and you have to be careful with them that’s not bad. This place had a nice vibe in a good selection of things for for camping and other things

Really cool spot. More often than not, if I need a specific piece of gear I can check the Exchange first and they're likely to have it. Reasonable pricing and a good inventory to choose from. Plus they're all about community and keeping things local, which is great.

I recently stopped into MKE Outdoor Indoor Exchange to have a buckle repaired on my son’s backpack, and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The owner was friendly, helpful, and got the repair done promptly — and at a very reasonable price. It’s refreshing to find a place that helps keep good gear in circulation instead of pushing you to buy something new. Beyond the repair service, the shop itself is full of really cool outdoor and indoor gear. There’s a great mix of items, and it definitely feels like the kind of place you can browse for a while and always find something interesting. I’m already looking for a reason to head back and do some shopping. Highly recommend supporting this local gem!

I love this place & am grateful that it’s close to home. Really fair consignment policy, really relaxed, positive atmosphere, and I’ve always received excellent customer service. I love to support a small, family business, and it’s clear that the owner of the store cares about community and humanity, so that’s a bonus as well. I also love that there’s a mix of new and secondhand stuff so there’s always an affordable option available when I have a specific need.

Awesome little gem nestled on the south east side of Milwaukee! Awesome selection that is always updating, and the used items have dates with sale prices as the items age on the rack. Super friendly staff, didn’t have cross country ski boots and gave us two options to go to. The clothing, camping gear, and other gear here is really awesome stuff, some even locally made!!! Will come back as we get braver with more rugged outdoor experiences!
